The headtube is 3D forged high-quality aluminum that is pressed under high pressure into this shape. By putting the aluminum under high pressure, you also change the aluminum structure and increase its strength.
The cutouts in front of the headtube are 10% larger and we added cutouts on the side to reduce weight and balance the deck. The integrated cups have also been thickened to avoid ovalization during hard riding. You will notice a bend in the downtube. This is not just for appearance. It allows the headtube to sit more forward to 120 mm wheels. Also when the downtube enters the deck it is at a lower angle than before, so it gives more metal opportunity to be on the front of the downtube. An increase in strength. New Front plates made of NYLON, come pre-installed in all AOS V4, designed specifically for Blunt slides and lip tricks all while protecting the deck from damage.
The plates are replaceable and can be pulled out as easily as the new ones can be put in. The rails on the deck have been expanded to better fit all forms of riding. 5 degrees concave and the rear end has a new shape. The brake has a heat-treated spring steel core in full length, covered by nylon. Not only does nylon give it a cool look, it also provides grip and dampens the brake's sound. The brake comes with a 5 mm bolt. The new spaces are inserted into the deck from between spaces to go in and hold it in place while you put the wheels on.
